The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

April 16

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen at approximately 3 a.m. from a driveway in the 800 block of LaCrosse Avenue.

• Several items reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 700 block of LaCrosse Avenue.

• Several items reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 1600 block of Highland Avenue.

WINNETKA

April 16

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen overnight from a driveway in the 1200 block of Westmoor Road.

• A resident reportedly was scammed out of $2,000 by an individual purporting to work for the communication app Telegram and requesting money for a rule violation.

• Prescription glasses reportedly were stolen overnight from an unlocked car in the 1300 block of Sunview Lane.

• Cash reportedly was stolen between April 13-16 from an unlocked car in the 1300 block of Sunview Lane.

• Cash reportedly was stolen from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 1300 block of Sunview Lane.

• Four pairs of prescription sunglasses reportedly were stolen overnight from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 1000 block of Dinsmore Road.

GLENCOE

No reported incidents between April 9-16 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

HIGHLAND PARK

April 20

• Food items reportedly were stolen from Sunset Foods, 1812 Green Bay Road.

April 17

• Graffiti and fire extinguisher residue reportedly were found in the abandoned building/former Petco, 1616 Deerfield Road.

April 16

• A cellphone reportedly was stolen from the basketball court at LA Fitness, 115 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

April 19

• A reported altercation between Mariano’s employees resulted in a knife threat at 2:25 p.m. at Mariano’s, 1822 Willow Road. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.

April 18

• Six bottles of liquor reportedly were stolen from Mariano’s, 1822 Willow Road.

KENILWORTH

April 16

• A package valued at $200 reportedly was stolen between 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. April 15 from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.
