Diy Lash Serum with Essential Oils

Want fuller, thicker, longer lashes? Then you need to try this DIY lash growth serum! It only contains 3 ingredients and it’s completely toxin-free.

My eyelashes have been through it over the past several years. Due to my autoimmune disease (you can read more about that here) they were thinning and falling out. They just looked awful.

I really wanted to try one of those popular lash growth serums. But not only were they way too expensive, the ingredient list kinda freaked me out. More about that below!

Store-Bought Lash Serum Ingredients

Below is a list of ingredients from a very well-known, popular lash growth product.

First of all, that’s a ridiculous amount of ingredients! But what’s even more ridiculous is how toxic some of the ingredients are.

Take isopropyl cloprostenate for example. Isopropyl cloprostenate is a synthetic type of compound known as a prostaglandin analog.

It can cause side effects, like eye irritation, red eyes, blurred vision, inflammation, lid crusting, blurred vision, and cysts, according to theFDA.

There is a lot of hype about castor oil and its effect on hair growth all across the internet. But I couldn’t actually find any science-backed evidence proving it can actually make your hair grow longer.

But I have been using castor oil for years and I’m pretty convinced of its ability to promote hair growth.
